CASE STUDY · BOOQABLE AI & RENTAL OPERATIONS
OriMar Bikes: from online booking to a connected rental operating system.
A live rental-business implementation connecting customer-facing AI and email to Booqable availability, business rules and the operational lifecycle that follows a booking — contracts, handoffs, returns, invoice finalisation, Google Drive filing, archiving and monitoring.
The starting point
The business problem was bigger than customer enquiries.
Customers repeatedly need answers about dates, availability, bike sizes, pricing, accessories, delivery locations and booking rules. But even when a customer books online, staff still have work to do: issue documents, prepare the rental, manage exceptions, close the booking, finalise records and file information correctly.
OriMar Bikes already used Booqable as its booking and inventory source of truth. Rather than replace it, the objective was to build a connected operating layer around it so customer questions, booking events and staff actions could trigger the next useful step automatically.

Independent platform validation: OriMar Bikes is a real Booqable customer and has also been featured in Booqable’s own customer stories.
What changed
Automate the repetitive. Protect the relationship.
Booqable remains the source of truth while the automation layer handles repetitive work before, during and after the rental.
Routine questions are answered from approved business knowledge. Availability and delivery questions can trigger live checks. Online bookings and staff actions can drive the next operational workflow, while exceptions, complaints, unusual changes and relationship-sensitive decisions remain available for human handling.
The result is not simply a chatbot. It is a connected operating layer around Booqable: customer AI and email at the front, booking and contract automation in the middle, and return, invoice, filing and archive workflows at the end.
Using Booqable but still doing too much around every booking manually?
Show us what your team still does before, during and after a booking. We can identify which questions, checks, documents, handoffs and close-out tasks are worth automating and which should remain human.
